Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026 ยท IntaskHub

Welcome to IntaskHub. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, which connects students who need academic assistance ("Students") with freelance subject-matter experts ("Experts") who complete assignments for payment. By creating an account or otherwise using IntaskHub, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of terms

By registering for an account, browsing assignments, submitting a bid, or otherwise interacting with IntaskHub, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 15; continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of service

IntaskHub is a marketplace that allows Students to post assignments with a description, budget, and deadline, and allows Experts to submit competitive bids to complete that work. Once a bid is accepted, a private workspace is created where both parties can exchange messages, files, and hold voice or video calls to collaborate until the work is delivered, reviewed, and approved. We facilitate this connection and provide supporting tools โ€” escrow-style payment handling, messaging, dispute resolution, and reputation (ratings/reviews) โ€” but we are not a party to the underlying agreement between a Student and an Expert, and we do not ourselves produce, edit, or guarantee the substance of any submitted work.

3. Accounts & eligibility

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Each person may hold only one active account per role. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or fees is prohibited.
  • You must meet the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using IntaskHub on behalf of an institution, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
  • We may offer optional identity, phone, or qualification verification. Misrepresenting your verification status is a violation of these Terms.

4. Responsibilities of students

As a Student, you are solely responsible for how you use any work delivered to you through IntaskHub, including compliance with your institution's academic integrity policies.IntaskHub is a facilitation platform, not an academic authority, and delivered work should be used in a manner consistent with your institution's rules โ€” for example as reference material, a study aid, or tutoring support, depending on what is permitted for you. You agree to provide Experts with a clear, accurate description of the task, a reasonable deadline, and a fair budget, and to communicate promptly and in good faith.

5. Responsibilities of experts

  • Work you deliver must be your own original work, produced specifically for the assignment in question, unless the Student has explicitly agreed otherwise.
  • You must deliver work within the timeline you committed to, or communicate promptly if a delay is unavoidable.
  • You must accurately represent your qualifications, skills, and experience in your profile and bids.
  • You may not request or accept payment for an assignment outside of IntaskHub's payment system in order to avoid platform fees.

6. Payments, fees & escrow

Funds for an accepted bid are held by IntaskHub in escrow-style protection until the Student approves the delivered work, at which point funds are released to the Expert, less any applicable service commission. This protects Students from paying for undelivered work and protects Experts from doing work that is never paid for. Service fees, when enabled, are disclosed before you accept or submit a bid. Payment processing is handled through third-party payment gateways; IntaskHub does not store your full payment card details.

7. Bidding & assignment lifecycle

Bids are non-binding offers until accepted by the Student. Once a bid is accepted, both parties enter a workspace and are expected to honor the agreed price, delivery timeline, and scope. Scope changes should be agreed by both parties in writing (via the workspace chat) before work continues. Either party may raise a dispute through the platform if the other party fails to meet their obligations; see Section 12.

8. Cancellations & refunds

A Student may cancel an assignment before a bid is accepted at no cost. Once a bid is accepted and work has begun, cancellations are handled case-by-case through the dispute process to fairly account for work already completed. Refunds, when granted, are processed back to the original payment method or platform wallet balance, at our discretion based on the circumstances of the dispute.

9. Reviews & ratings

After a workspace is completed, both parties may leave a rating and review of the other. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and may not contain harassment, personal information about the other party, or content unrelated to the work performed. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate this policy.

10. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
  • Circumvent IntaskHub's payment system or attempt to move a transaction off-platform to avoid fees;
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, including through workspace chat, voice, or video calls;
  • Submit plagiarized, AI-generated-and-misrepresented, or otherwise dishonestly sourced work without disclosure where disclosure is required by the Student;
  • Attempt to access another user's account, or interfere with the security or proper functioning of the platform;
  • Create fraudulent bids, assignments, or reviews, or otherwise manipulate ratings or rankings.

11. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing between a Student and an Expert, ownership of deliverables transfers to the Student upon full payment and approval of the work. The IntaskHub name, logo, and platform software remain the property of IntaskHub and may not be used without permission. You retain ownership of content you upload (assignment descriptions, files, profile information) but grant us a limited license to host, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the platform.

12. Disputes

If a Student and Expert cannot resolve a disagreement directly, either party may open a dispute from within the workspace. Our team will review the assignment details, delivered work, and message history to reach a fair resolution, which may include releasing funds to the Expert, refunding the Student in full or in part, or another remedy appropriate to the situation. Opening a dispute in bad faith, or repeatedly, may itself be treated as a violation of these Terms.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if required to do so by law. You may close your account at any time; outstanding assignments, workspaces, or payments in progress will be resolved before final closure. Certain provisions of these Terms (including Sections 11, 12, and 14) survive termination of your account.

14. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

IntaskHub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or timeliness of work submitted by Experts, nor the accuracy of information provided by Students. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IntaskHub and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including academic consequences resulting from the use of delivered work. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount of fees you paid to IntaskHub in the twelve months preceding the claim.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our platform, legal requirements, or business practices. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Your continued use of IntaskHub after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which IntaskHuboperates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise for your jurisdiction.
